Springville: Loren “Parker” L. Rauch, of Springville, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at the Bertrand Chaffee Hospital at the age of 87. He was born June 13, 1929 in Fowlerville, NY- a son to the late Loren and Mabel (Fowler) Rauch.
He worked as a truck driver for West Herr Automotive as well as Clarklift of Buffalo. He was an avid horseshoe player.
He is survived by his long time companion: Marilyn Bowman of Springville; his children: Lori (Daniel) Oakes of Ransomville, NY; and Parker (Laura) Rauch of Leesburg, VA; a sister: Ruth Spencer of Sardinia; three grandchildren: Parker Rauch; Adam (Jillian) Rauch; Joseph (Laura) Oakes; one great-grandchild: Sawyer Rauch; also survived by nieces and nephews: Michael; Dennis; Beth; Krystal; and several others. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife: NettieMay Rauch, who passed away in 1994; siblings: Marie Griffith and Robert Rauch; and a nephew: LeRoy.
Friends may call Friday, March 24, 2017 from 4-8 PM at the Smith-Weismantel Funeral Home- 271 E. Main St., Springville where a service will be held Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 10 AM. Officiated by Pastor E. John Wood.
