Three members of the New York State Horseshoe Pitchers Association were inducted into the Hall of Fame on Sunday August 31, 2025 at the Annual Meeting held during the State Singles Championship weekend in Camden, NY. Click on any inductee name to see their Hall of Fame profile package.
Bill Hornbuckle of Freeville pitches in Groton with the Tri-County Horseshoe Club. He is being recognized and honored as a long-time Promoter of our sport.
Gary Dawley of Clifton Springs pitches at Dawley’s Barn and the Waterloo Ringers pits. Elected to the Hall Of Fame as a Promoter of the game. Gary is primarily responsible for the construction of the Dawley’s Barn facility in Clifton Springs.
Sue Laughlin of Montour Falls by way of Elmira, NY. She enters the Hall of Fame as an excellent Pitcher with an impressive history. She is the owner of Four New York State Championships.

The 2025 NYS Singles Championships were hosted by the Pine Grove Horseshoe Club in Camden NY over Labor Day weekend. Tournament director Karen Graham registered a total of 79 players that competed across 11 classes for this tournament.
