Dates:   Doubles – October 4th (12:00pm)
Singles – October 5th (12:00pm)

Sign In: No later than 11:30am

Location: Friendship American Legion (Depot St.)
Entry Fee: $10 / pitcher
Pay at tournament.

Prize Distribution: 100% payout
Scoring: 20-shoe (10 frames) or 25-point games
Keep own score.    Handicap: None!

Format: Double Elimination

Pits: Eight (sand) sanctioned / Concrete walkways / Full distance marked for both 40’ and 30’ pitchers.

Legion will be available for restrooms and legal beverages.

Food: Ken Hand is our grill master.

This is a Round Robin format tournament.
Class qualification rounds start at 10:00 AM.
Number of classes and PAYOUTS are dependent on the number of participants.

Sunday, July 20 – DOUBLES TOURNAMENT – 10:00 AM – $20/Team

This is a Round Robin format tournament.
Class qualification rounds start at 10:00 AM.
Number of classes and PAYOUTS are dependent on the number of teams entered.

Spring Tournament

The Town of Smithtown has set the date for the spring horseshoe tournaments.

Previous Tournament Winners

Both singles and doubles (team) tournaments will be held on Saturday May 17th at Andreoli Park across the street from Gibbs Pond.

These are non-sanctioned tournaments with a nominal entry fee that provide plenty of fun as well as stiff competition. Historically the top 3 finishers of both tournaments receive a t-shirt and bragging rights until the fall tournament.
